I was really really bored and just wanted something interesting to happen. Is she supposed to be some sort of savior or have a special power that wins the fight?
I would have liked more of the twins from the coffee shop and what happened to the threatening college art lecturer? I also found that the story was a little jumpy, it never really flowed from one section to the next.
You are neither wholly one nor the other. She still lives in the Deep South with her husband, two children, two dogs, and three cats, but is pretty th her house isn’t haunted.
I loved Caspia as a main character. Until one day she draws the face of one man that will change her life forever.
So begins her journey into understanding and learning about Ethan and “the fallen” the forces of light and dark and the warning that sometimes light doesn’t always mean good and darkness doesn’t always mean evil and miracles DO happen! I cannot wait to read the next installment. Basically, nothing is explained properly and it leaves you feeling like every vital development is missing.
I didn’t carebecause I liked it so much I’m itching to get my hands on the sequel right after I finished reading it. I have no desire at all to read book two. Trivia About Gifts of the Bloo It seems that this is one of those that I cannot cast true opinion on until I’ve read the subsequent books in the series; which makes sense since this book ends abruptly with no real tact Why is everyone seem to be stalking Caspia?

Want to Read saving…. Overall, the plot in general is messy and tossed together. What most people see as wings are more like doors. They are already an orphan but from time to time, they get some support from the people in town where they grew up with.
I really love Caspia as a heroine I think there may yet be much to this story and this book was just the foundation. Dec 27, Andreea Pausan rated it really liked it. She spent the last decade teaching writing and literature at a large, football obsessed university while slipping pa Vicki Keire grew up in a 19th Century haunted house in the Deep South full of books, abandoned coal chutes, and plenty of places to get into trouble with her siblings.
She’s a talented artist, but that’s not what makes her special, it’s her eyes, liquid silver colored eyes, and her ability to draw a glimpse of the future. Pretty much every question you tifts will go unanswered.
Markov, and even Asheroth didn’t seem like such a prick towards the end, so I hope his character is more developed in the next story. And while I know this is a series and you can t reveal all in the 1st book I still was pissed by the various vlcki, the overall pace, and the cliff hanger.
It ends way too abruptly. Thanks for telling us about the problem.
